Assembly/Installation Service Details and Terms of Service

Before ordering any assembled products from the Pets Thing website, please carefully read the relevant terms of service. These terms of service explain how our installation partners will provide you with assembly services and how these products will be assembled at your chosen location.

By placing an order and making payment for any assembly service on the Pets Thing website, you agree to these terms of service.

1. Service scope, fees, and appointment process
  • Service Scope: Assembly service is limited to the installation of Pets Thing product components. Assembly instructions and guidelines are included with each item. We are happy to provide assembly services at a reasonable price if needed. (Please refer to the relevant product page for the actual cost of assembly services.)
  • Separate arrangements: Assembly and delivery services will be arranged separately, and we will not expedite the assembly process for any reason.
  • Appointment Method: After receiving the product, please contact Pets Thing Customer Service to schedule an assembly time. Your contact information will be provided to our installation partner, who will contact you to confirm the assembly service date and time.
  • Scheduling Time: The estimated appointment time is approximately 3-5 business days after receiving the goods. Assembly time depends on the workload of our installation team at that time, with a maximum scheduling time of 1-2 weeks. Please wait patiently for our reply when making your appointment. If you have any questions about the assembly time arrangement, please consult us before placing your order.
  • Noise Control: Furniture mounting services are regulated by Sections 4 and 6 of the Environmental Protection Department's Noise Control Ordinance or the building covenant. Services can only be carried out on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Work is prohibited all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. If you have any questions about the scheduled assembly time, please contact us before placing an order.
2. Changes to Time, Cancellation, and Time Limits (Important Terms)

Once the appointment time is confirmed, it cannot be changed.

  • We will treat "changing the time requirement" as "abandoning the installation service," and we will not provide installation or any refund.
  • If the customer requests a change of time, we will treat it as a new installation service and charge an additional fee.
  • Once the order is confirmed, all assembly services cannot be cancelled, and the payment for the installation service will not be refunded.
  • Service timeframe: Installation service is available within one month of receiving the goods. If the service is delayed beyond one month, it will be considered that you have voluntarily waived the installation service, and we reserve the right not to perform the installation for you.
  • Additional Purchase Fee: If you did not purchase the assembly service at the time of purchase, but require the assembly service after receiving the product, we will charge an additional $100 administrative fee on top of the basic assembly service fee.
3. Special arrangements and risks for wall-mounted installation
Regarding the installation of the climbing scaffold on the wall, please consider the location in advance: Before making any purchases, please carefully consider the specific location where you wish to install it. Our installers are not designers, so a clear direction will help ensure a smooth workflow (installation time is limited to one hour).
  • Wall mounting recommendation: Regarding wall mounting, we recommend mounting on concrete walls.
  • Risk assumption: If the customer chooses to install on a "non-concrete wall", the customer shall bear the relevant consequences and risks.
  • Drilling Disclaimer: If this service involves drilling into a wall, the customer must check and confirm whether there are any electrical wires, water pipes, or gas pipes at the drilling location before drilling. The company will not be responsible for any damage caused during installation.
4. Your responsibilities, site and transportation requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure that:

  1. Our installation partners have ample space to provide assembly services at your chosen location.
  2. The area around your selected location is free of obstructions and the ground is level.
  3. There is sufficient space to transport the largest components of the unassembled product to the area where the product will be installed via your chosen delivery location.
  4. Ensure that the ordered assembly products can be successfully and sequentially assembled into your chosen room, that they fit the space, and that they can be transported through the doors, stairs, and passageways of the house, apartment, or room, and that there are no other items that would complicate or render the ordered assembly service unsolvable.
  5. The assembly address must be the same as the delivery address of the purchased product.
  6. Please ensure your contact information is correct so that we and our installation partners can contact you regarding your order, delivery, and/or assembly services.

Property Protection: Customers must take good care of and protect other furniture, furniture, floors, walls, decorations and property, etc. The company will not be responsible for any damage caused during installation.

5. Details of Regional Surcharges

Additional fees may apply to some remote areas:

6. Other details, refunds and force majeure
  • Service boundaries: Assembly technicians only provide assembly services. For instruction or usage questions/methods, please contact Pets Thing Customer Service.
  • Waste disposal: Installation services do not include the disposal of installation waste, packaging, or cleaning.
  • Parts Replacement: If any damage or missing parts are found when the assembled product is delivered to you, our installation partner will deliver and install replacement parts for the assembled product on another date agreed upon by both parties.
  • Force Majeure: The Company shall not be liable for any delays, suspensions or reschedulings caused by actual circumstances such as traffic, location, weather and other force majeure factors, regardless of whether the cause of such delays or reschedulings is within the Company's control.
  • Manufacturer Out of Stock/Refund: If we are unable to provide assembly service due to manufacturer stock shortage, incorrect pricing, or problems with our installation partner, we will notify you via email and that the service will not be processed. If you have already paid for the assembly service, we will provide a full refund as soon as possible.
  • Final decision-making right: Pets Thing reserves the right to interpret and amend the terms and conditions of this service. In the event of any dispute, the company reserves the right of final decision.
