Assembly/Installation Service Details Service Terms

Please read the relevant Terms of Service carefully before ordering any assembled products from the Pets Thing website. These Terms of Service tell you how our installation partners will provide you with assembly services and assemble these products at the location of your choice.

Terms of Service

  • If you place an order and pay for any assembly service on the Pets Thing website, you have agreed to these Terms of Service.
  • Each item comes with assembly instructions and guidance. We are happy to provide a reasonable assembly service if you require it. (Please refer to the appropriate product page for actual charges for assembly services.)
  • Assembly services are limited to the installation of Pets Thing product components.
  • Assembly service is arranged separately from delivery service. We will not expedite assembly service for any reason. After receiving the product, please contact Pets Thing Customer Service to make an appointment for assembly. Your contact information will be provided to our installation partners, who will contact you to confirm the date and time of the assembly service. The appointment time is approximately 3-5 business days after receipt of the goods.
  • Once the appointment time is confirmed, it cannot be changed. We will regard the "request to change the time" as "waiver of installation service" and we will not provide installation and will not make any refunds.
  • If the customer really requests to change the time, we will treat it as a re-purchase of installation service and we will charge separately.
  • Furniture wall mounting services are regulated by Section 4 and Section 6 of the Environmental Protection Department's Noise Control Ordinance or the building's deed of mutual covenant. They can only be carried out from 7am to 7pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Work is prohibited on red days such as Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. If you have any questions about the appointment assembly schedule, please consult us before placing an order.
  • The appointment time for assembly is determined by the workload of the installation department colleagues at the time. The longest scheduling time is 1-2 weeks. Please wait patiently for our reply when making an appointment. If you have any questions about the appointment assembly schedule, please consult us before placing an order.
  • Regarding wall installation, we recommend installing it on a concrete wall. If the customer chooses to install on a "non-concrete wall", the consequences and risks must be borne by the customer.
  • If you do not purchase the assembly service when you purchase the product, and you need to use the assembly service after receiving the product, we will charge an additional $100 administration fee on top of the basic assembly service charge.

It is your responsibility to ensure that:

  1. Our installation partners have ample space to provide assembly services at the location of your choice.
  2. All relevant areas of the location you choose must be free of any obstructions and the ground is flat.
  3. Sufficient space to transport the largest component of the unassembled Product from your selected delivery location to the area where the assembled Product will be installed;
  4. The assembly address must be the same as the shipping address for the purchased product.

Other details

  • The assembler only provides assembly services. For any questions or methods of instruction or use, please contact Pets Thing Customer Service Department.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any delay, suspension or rescheduling due to actual circumstances such as traffic, region, weather and other force majeure factors, regardless of whether the reasons causing such delay or rescheduling are within the control of the Company.
  • Ensure that the ordered assembled products can pass and be assembled in order into the room of your choice, that they fit into the space and can be transported through the doors, stairs and passages of the house, apartment or room, and that there are no other items that would complicate or make the ordered assembly service unsolvable.
  • Once the order is confirmed, the related assembly service cannot be cancelled and the installation service fee will not be refunded.
  • The installation service is provided within one month from the date of receipt of the goods. If it is delayed for one month, it will be deemed that you have voluntarily given up the installation service and we have the right not to install it for you.
  • Please ensure your contact details are correct so that we and our installation partners can contact you regarding your order, delivery and/or assembly services.
  • If any damage or missing parts are found in the Assembled Product when it is delivered to you, our installation partner will deliver and install the replacement parts of the Assembled Product on another date to be agreed between the parties.
  • Some remote areas will incur additional charges:
    MTR lines (excluding Light Rail) within 15 minutes’ walk No additional charge: No additional charge Tung Chung and Tseung Kwan O lines: $50
    Get off at a subway station (excluding light rail) and then take a bus: $150
    The Peak, Mid-Levels, Village House, Southern District: $250
    Discovery Bay, Cheung Chau, Lamma Island and other outlying islands, places not accessible by subway or bus: $300

  • Customers must carefully keep and protect other furniture, furniture, floors, walls, decorations and property, etc. The Company will not be responsible for any damage caused during installation.
  • If the service involves wall drilling installation, customers should check and confirm whether there are any electrical wires, water pipes or gas pipes at the drilling location before drilling the wall. The company will not be responsible for any damage caused during installation.
  • If we are unable to provide you with assembly services due to manufacturer out-of-stock, price error or problems with the installation partner, we will notify you by email and the service will not be processed further. If you have already paid for an assembly service, we will refund this amount in full as soon as possible.
  • Installation services do not include handling of installation waste, packaging or cleanup.
  • Pets Thing reserves the right to interpret and amend the terms and conditions of this service. In case of any disputes, the company reserves the right of final decision.
