Assembly/Installation Service Details Terms of Service

Please read the relevant Terms of Service carefully before ordering any assembled products from the Pets Thing website. These Terms of Service tell you how our installation partners will provide assembly services to you and assemble these products at the location of your choice.

Terms of Service

  • If you place an order and pay for any assembly services on the Pets Thing website, you agree to these Terms of Service.
  • Each item comes with assembly instructions and guidelines in the box. If you need it, we are happy to provide affordable assembly services. (For actual charges for assembly services, please see the appropriate product page.)
  • The assembly service is limited to the installation of Pets Thing product components.
  • Assembly service and delivery service will be arranged separately, and we will not expedite the assembly service for any reason; when customers receive the product, please contact Pets Thing customer service department to make an appointment for the assembly time. Your contact information will be provided to our installation partners, who will contact you to confirm the assembly service date and time. The appointment time is approximately 3-5 working days after receipt of the goods.
  • Once the appointment time is confirmed, the time cannot be changed. We will treat the "time change request" as "giving up the installation service". We will not provide installation and will not make any refunds.
  • If the customer really requests to change the time, we will treat it as re-purchasing the installation service and we will charge separately.
  • Furniture wall mounting services are controlled by Articles 4 and 6 of the Noise Control Ordinance of the Environmental Protection Department or controlled by the deed of mutual covenant of the building. They can only be carried out from 7 am to 7 pm on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Saturdays and Sundays On red days such as Sundays and public holidays, work is prohibited throughout the day. If you have any questions about the scheduled assembly time, please consult us before placing an order.
  • The scheduled assembly time is subject to the current workload of the installation department colleagues. The maximum scheduling time is 1-2 weeks. Please be patient and wait for our reply when making an appointment. If you have any questions about the scheduled assembly time, please consult us before placing an order.
  • Regarding wall installation, we recommend installing on a concrete wall. If the customer chooses to install on a "non-concrete wall", the consequences and risks must be borne by the customer.
  • If you do not purchase the assembly service at the time of purchase and need to use the assembly service after receiving the product, we will charge an additional $100 administrative fee on top of the basic assembly service charge.

It is your responsibility to ensure that:

  1. Our installation partners have the space to provide assembly services at the location of your choice.
  2. All relevant areas of your chosen location are clear of obstructions and the ground is stable.
  3. There is sufficient space to transport the largest components of the unassembled product through your chosen delivery location to the area where the assembled product will be installed;
  4. The assembly address must be the same as the shipping address for purchased products.

Other details

  • The assembly master only provides assembly services. For teaching or usage questions/methods, please contact Pets Thing customer service department.
  • If the event is delayed, suspended or rescheduled due to actual circumstances such as traffic, region, weather and other force majeure factors, the Company will not be held responsible regardless of whether the cause of such delay or rescheduling is within the Company's control.
  • Ensure that the assembled products ordered can be passed through and assembled into the room of your choice in order, that they fit in the space and can be transported through doors, stairs and passages of the house, apartment or room, and that there are no other items that would make the assembly service ordered Problems that become complex or unsolvable.
  • After the order is confirmed, the related assembly services cannot be canceled and the payment for the installation services will not be refunded.
  • The installation service is provided within one month from the date of receipt of the goods. If it is overdue for one month, it will be deemed that you have voluntarily given up the installation service, and we have the right not to install it for the customer.
  • Please ensure your contact details are correct so that we and our installation partners can contact you regarding your order, delivery and/or assembly services.
  • If the Assembled Product is found to be damaged or missing in any way when delivered to you, our installation partner will deliver and install replacement parts for the Assembled Product on another date agreed between the parties.
  • Some remote areas require additional surcharges:
    No additional charges are required within a 15-minute walk along MTR lines (excluding Light Rail): No additional charges are required for Tung Chung and Tseung Kwan O Lines: $50
    Get off at the subway station (excluding light rail) and transfer to the bus to get there: $150
    Mid-Levels, Village House, Southern District: $250
    Discovery Bay, Cheung Chau, Lamma Island and other outlying islands, places that cannot be reached by MTR buses: $300
    If customers have any questions about the assembly address, please contact us.
  • Customers must carefully keep and protect other furniture, furniture, floors, walls, decorations and belongings. Our company will not be responsible for any damage caused during installation.
  • If the service involves drilling into a wall, the customer should check and confirm whether there are wires, water pipes or gas pipes at the drilling location before drilling into the wall. Our company will not be responsible for any damage caused during installation.
  • If we are unable to provide you with assembly services due to manufacturer out-of-stock, price errors or problems with the installation partner, we will notify you via email and the service will not be processed further. If you have already paid for assembly services, we will issue a full refund as soon as possible.
  • Installation services do not include disposal of installation waste, packaging or cleaning.
  • Pets Thing reserves the right to interpret and amend the terms and conditions of this service. In case of any disputes, the company reserves the right to make the final decision.
