Assembly / Installation Service Terms and Conditions

Please read the relevant terms and conditions carefully before ordering any assembly products from the Pets Thing website. These terms and conditions tell you how our installation partners will provide assembly services to you and how these products will be assembled at your chosen location.

By placing an order and paying for any assembly service on the Pets Thing website, you agree to these terms and conditions.

1. Scope of Service, Fees and Appointment Process
  • Scope of Service: Assembly service is limited to the installation of Pets Thing product components. Assembly instructions and guidelines are included with each product. If you require, we are happy to provide assembly services at a reasonable fee. (For the actual cost of assembly services, please refer to the respective product page.)
  • Separate Arrangement: Assembly services and delivery services will be arranged separately. We will not expedite assembly services for any reason.
  • Appointment Method: After receiving the product, customers should contact Pets Thing customer service to schedule an assembly appointment. Your contact information will be provided to our installation partners, who will contact you to confirm the assembly service date and time.
  • Scheduling Time: Appointments are generally scheduled approximately 3-5 business days after receipt of the goods. The scheduling of assembly appointments depends on the current workload of the installation team, with a maximum scheduling time of 1-2 weeks. Please be patient while waiting for our reply when making an appointment. If you have any questions about scheduling assembly appointments, please consult us before placing an order.
  • Noise Control: Wall-mounting services for furniture are subject to regulations under Sections 4 and 6 of the Environmental Protection Department's Noise Control Ordinance or building covenants. Such services can only be performed on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 7 AM to 7 PM. Work is prohibited all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. If you have any questions about scheduling assembly appointments, please consult us before placing an order.
2. Rescheduling, Cancellation and Validity (Important Terms)

Once an appointment is confirmed, it cannot be rescheduled:

  • We will treat "rescheduling requests" as "abandonment of installation service". We will not provide installation, and no refunds will be given.
  • If the customer insists on rescheduling, it will be treated as a new purchase of installation service, and additional charges will apply.
  • Once the order is confirmed, the relevant assembly service cannot be canceled, and no refund will be given for the installation service fee.
  • Service Validity: Installation service is valid for one month from the date of receipt of the goods. If it exceeds one month, it will be deemed that you have voluntarily forfeited the installation service, and we reserve the right not to perform the installation for the customer.
  • Repurchase Fee: If assembly service was not purchased at the time of purchase, but is required after receiving the product, an additional administrative fee of $100 will be charged on top of the basic assembly service fee.
3. Special Arrangements and Risks for Wall Mounting
💡 Regarding wall-mounting climbing frame arrangements, consider the location in advance:
Before making any purchase, please carefully consider the specific location where you wish to install. Our technicians are not designers, so clear directions will help ensure a smooth process (installation time is limited to one hour).
  • Wall Recommendation: For wall mounting, we recommend installation on concrete walls.
  • Risk Assumption: If the customer chooses to install on a "non-concrete wall", the consequences and risks shall be borne by the customer.
  • Drilling Disclaimer: If the service involves wall drilling, the customer should check and confirm whether there are wires, water pipes, or gas pipes at the drilling location before drilling. Our company will not be responsible for any damage caused during installation.
4. Your Responsibilities, Site and Transportation Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  1. Our installation partners have sufficient space to provide assembly services at your chosen location.
  2. All relevant areas of your chosen location are free of obstructions and the ground is level.
  3. There is sufficient space to transport the largest component of the unassembled product through your chosen delivery point to the area where the assembled product will be installed.
  4. The ordered assembled product can pass through and be assembled into your chosen room in order, that it fits the space, and can be transported through doors, stairs, and passages of the house, apartment or room, and that there are no other items that complicate or make the ordered assembly service insoluble.
  5. The assembly address must be the same as the delivery address of the purchased product.
  6. Please ensure your contact information is correct so that we and our installation partners can contact you regarding your order, delivery and/or assembly services.

Property Protection: Customers must carefully safeguard and protect other furniture, furnishings, floors, walls, decorations, and property. Our company will not be responsible for any damage caused during installation.

5. Regional Surcharge Details

An additional surcharge applies to some remote areas:

6. Other Details, Refunds and Force Majeure
  • Service Boundaries: Assembly technicians only provide assembly services. For questions/methods regarding teaching or usage, please contact Pets Thing customer service.
  • Waste Disposal: Installation service does not include disposal of installation waste, packaging, or cleaning.
  • Parts Replacement: If any damage or missing parts are found when the assembled product is delivered to you, our installation partners will deliver and install replacement parts for the assembled product on another date agreed upon by both parties.
  • Force Majeure: Our company shall not be liable for any delays, suspensions, or rescheduling due to actual circumstances such as traffic, location, weather, and other force majeure factors, regardless of whether the cause of such delay or rescheduling is within the company's control.
  • Manufacturer Out of Stock/Refunds:If we are unable to provide you with assembly services due to manufacturer out of stock, incorrect pricing, or issues with our installation partners, we will notify you by email and the service will not proceed. If you have already paid for the assembly service, we will issue a full refund as soon as possible.
  • Final Decision: Pets Thing reserves the right to interpret and amend the terms and conditions of this service. In case of any dispute, the company reserves the right of final decision.
