The feeder can only connect to the app when it is plugged in and connected; when switched to battery power, the device enters sleep mode and cannot use the app (but scheduled feeding plans will still execute at the set times). There is no switch or indicator light on the device when in battery mode; at this time, you can only manually press a button to dispense food or wait for the pre-set automatic dispensing time in the app. For optimal and complete functionality, it is recommended to primarily use the plugged-in mode.

All our automatic feeders are designed to operate safely and reliably in Hong Kong. Each feeder comes standard with a three-pin plug that fully complies with the safety specifications of the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) of Hong Kong. For more flexible power options, the feeder can also be conveniently charged via USB.
