KMB launches "Pet Bus Tour" service
Hong Kong, this busy city, is not only a paradise for humans, but is also becoming a paradise for pets. The "Pet Bus Tour" jointly launched by Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited ("KMB") and Kaida Travel is the latest embodiment of this concept.
Starting from October 13, 2024, this innovative service will provide pets and their owners with a unique travel experience every weekend and public holiday, allowing them to travel together on a double-decker bus to visit multiple pet-friendly attractions in Hong Kong.

Pet Bus Tour: Hong Kong’s new pet-friendly travel experience
The launch of this service not only provides pet owners with an opportunity to share quality time with their pets, but also reflects KMB's commitment to community responsibility. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to animal rights groups to support their work in caring for animals and promoting pet-friendly communities.
The "Pet Bus Tour" has a rich and colorful itinerary, from Sha Tin to Tsuen Wan, to Pak Shek Kok, Sai Kung, West Kowloon Cultural District and Ma Wan. Each destination is carefully selected to ensure that pets and owners can enjoy the best Travel experience. These locations not only provide a wide space for pets to move freely, but also have facilities specially designed for pets, such as pet sharing parks, seaside promenades and pet areas.
To facilitate booking and planning, KMB provides an online booking platform, which will be open for service from October 9. Pet owners can easily sign up online and choose the itinerary that best suits them and their pets. The fee per trip is HK$35, which can accommodate one passenger and one pet, and KMB club1933 members can also enjoy discounts.
In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey, KMB and Kaida Travel have also formulated a series of pet bus rules to ensure that every passenger and their furry child is properly taken care of during the journey. In addition, the first owners and pets to participate in the "Pet Bus Tour" will receive souvenirs in recognition of their support in promoting a pet-friendly community.
