Why do dog allergen testing be done?
Many dogs and cats are taken to the veterinarian to investigate the reasons behind persistent itching, digestive issues, or behavioral problems that may be related to allergies. Often these problems go undetected and untreated for months or even years, causing undue stress and worry for you and your animal.
With canine allergen testing, you can discover possible causes of your dog's problems, whether behavioral or physical, and take steps to avoid potential allergens so your pet is no longer exposed to them. Make it easy for you to know that you can safely use the substances around you. Can help provide the best, most allergen-free food and environment for your pet.

Detection process
- DNA extraction
Cell samples are lysed and purified to obtain DNA samples - Library construction Organize DNA samples to make them meet the requirements of sequencing
- Genetic sequencing analyzes the base sequence of a specific DNA fragment on a sequencer
- Data Analysis Analysis and Interpretation of DNA Sequencing Information
- Interpretation reports convert biological information into graphics or text
- The test report cycle starts from the laboratory receiving the returned samples, and the report will be issued within one month, and the progress can be viewed on the webpage.
Sampling process
It's very simple to do genetic testing for your furkids
- After cleaning hands, unscrew the cap and remove the swab
- Place a cotton swab on the top of the pet's gums and wipe it back and forth for 10-20 seconds for sampling
- Insert the swab into the test tube with the tip pointing down and close it
- Reward your pet for a job well done
- Mail the sample, just put the sample in the return envelope and send it back
Sampling considerations
- Please do not let pets eat or play with other pets within one hour before sampling.
- During the whole sampling process, it is necessary to prevent the effective sampling part of the cotton swab from touching other objects except the pet's mouth.
